@TheBulbiker They have changed their looks a little, particularly their hair. Win now has shorter hair and Will has longer hair. Sarah has longer hair. Richard now has longer hair and wears contacts instead of glasses(which is probably more comfortable for him). Regine and Tim still look the same.
Of course they don't dress this way anymore, but they were only dressing this way back then because they were promoting their album,"Funeral". They always dress the theme of their latest album.
@pytko3 I love how they change there look each album, except for that maintenance man jumpsuit Richard wears, although I like the suits the best, we wear suits in the band I'm in, because of our obsession with Funeral.....
@mysteryskater48 Well, Regine and Sarah wore dresses when promoting Funeral and look pretty good in them.
I'm not too wild about Richard's jumpsuit, either, particularly the white one, the blue one is better. But you do see a lot of people in maintance jumpsuits working in the suburbs, afterall. It's a creative thing on Richard's part and creativity, especially music runs strong in Richard's family. You should see the creativity that his sister, Evalyn Parry displays in her performances.
@mysteryskater48 No, she's more of a solo artist. People do perform music with her. You might say, she's the star of the show. She's an award-winning poet, a songwriter, a musician, singer and spoken word performer. There are videos of Evalyn Parry on you tube.
Richard's parents were talented, too. His late father, David was a solo artist, folk band member and theatrical director. His mother, Caroline is a poet and musician. Richard and Evalyn's talents are definitely GENETIC! :)
@pytko3 I checked out Evalyn Parry, she's definitely good, and it seems a lot of Arcade Fire's talent is genetic, Win and Will's grandfather, was the jazz guitarist Alvino Rey, and there mother, Liza Butler, is a renown harpist.
@mysteryskater48 Sarah's been playing the violin since she was 3, so she's been playing the violin for 30 years! Sarah's talent is genetic, too. Her mother plays the violin and so does her brother.
I've always thought of Sarah as extremely cute! Though, you don't hear her talk much, she has a really cute voice too.
@BehindTheSea29 I agree. It does the same to me, too. Their music just has that sort of effect, you know. They play their music with a passion. I wouldn't be surprised if they get goosebumps themselves performing this song. Their songs are all good but I think this is their BEST song!
I love Owen`s dance move at 4:43

They were so young... But hey - they are still young today. 2005: the breakthrough of one of the best bands ever!
