Obama repeats a dozen times how everyone should follow the rules. What a joke. His own party even got to read the rule book once last year and then they turn around every day of the week and break every rule in the book... the Constitution. Why doesn't Obama make everyone follow the rules in that book by vetoing any and all bills or laws that cross his desk where Congress has tried to go around or overstep the rules or their powers in that book? Answer: Because he is full of it, that's why.
One ? How many people that sat through this diatribe were democrats, how many were independents, how many were republicans and how many were libertarians? I'm betting that 90% were his sheep and that's why they clapped and cheered so much. The ? is could he get those same results by giving this same speech to the rest of the Americans who are less easily con'd and who actually want a government that follows the Constitution rather than trashing it at every turn at the tax payer's expense?
The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971…before computers, before e- mail, before cell phones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land…all because of public pressure.
