I find it interesting that as you go through part 1 to the end the amount of views counted diminishes exponentially. Are people really that disinterested in this stuff? It's really scary. I guess American Idol or sports is more interesting.

@MPedroful that statement is too perfect... the results of that question can be found in the very "flatland" part of the video itself... if we say "above" (question long-standing beliefs, authority, status-quo, etc.) we can be SEVERELY punished. people don't like punishment, they don't do what they don't like. organisms thrive in pleasure, die in pain.

@MPedroful ever hear of Ploto's cave. Enlightenment is a result of growth and all growth is preceded by discomfort and most discomfort is preceded by fear. Its a sad state of affairs that comfort is our default destination when comfort has achieved nothing for the evolution of our species.
