It would be the software, not the mask that's at fault. But I blinked a few times and it didn't happen. When I made the video I might have been wrong about what the software is looking for.

It might just be looking for eyes and a general face.

Yawning here as well, I see I am a noob for not having experienced 6fps cameras with unrecognisable visuals. It's clear enough you have no experience with real software, After Effects is good enough for tracking. I must agree to your point that the camera does play a part, but more or less it's the setting, whether or not the points/objects to be tracked are blocked or not. And thank you for acknowledging my video, the only way to get more people to see your stuff sometimes is to promote them.

P.S. You don't need to limit tracking to the face, unless of course you use your method with eyes. I had a null object parented to all the layers tracking several points on the x and y plane throughout the entire video. And finally to relieve my heart of any trace of pain, I am sorry for selfishly promoting my video in a comment to your video.

If you notice every video that does this was posted after mine. But I did it to share the info. I saw the masaya thing you're talking about and it wasn't animooted. It was rather boring.

If anyone if looking for the flash I used you'll have to check on deviantart. I don't remember who's flash I used.
