Ever heard of Breguet, IWC, Hublot, Panerai, Zenith, Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, Blancpain, Ulysse Nardin? All of which are more exclusive and prestigious than Rolex.

Rolex is VERY far from selling the world's most expensive watch. The steel versions of Rolex don't even top out where other brands start in terms of prices. Add to that that they don't make highly complicated movements.

They've done a very good job at marketing, but their watches are definitely not the best or most exclusive out there. Omega's movements are more precise in most cases yet they aren't priced like Rolex. You pay a lot for the brand...
