How wide is the neck? My BC Rich guitar neck is 1.7 inches and I kinda like that width.

@disdain666666 the necks on the JRV are the same as a warlock (Id say similar to a Les Paul) almost all BCRICH use this shape. The EMG in JRV Icon is the same as the JRV NJ-D and all in all JRV guitar plays great and looks killer.

brand im not sure, any thing that has a C shape neck is pretty much the same. most gibsons i believe have a C shape.

i know for a FACT that the ESP Eclipse-II has the exact same neck as this guitar. but every bc rich that isnt a custom uses C shape neck.

IMO. you should try an Ibanez or Schecter. both have thin necks.

I have a schecter damien fr, the necks on those are very nice (you can compair it to an ibanez) the schecter's neck is pretty thin U shape neck.

I recently bought the LTD M-1000, and it plays like a dream. The neck is very thin, and it has a great full-sounding tone. I think i will switch out the the EMG 81 in the neck for an 85 though.

its not a paper thin neck and its not as fat as a baseball bat, kinda inbetween fat and slim its perfect in my opinion. I believe its a C shape neck.

It depends on what model you get. I bought a Signature Series Mick Thompson Warlock (going back a few years eh?) and the body weighs 4KG/9lbs. so that is NOT top heavy.

My Ironbird Platinum Pro on the other hand has a body which weighs 2lbs 5oz and so that is VERY top heavy.

i can tell you for sure it sounds good for cannibal corpse because of the pickups.

Just got this guitar two weeks ago.

It sounds amazing, the sustain is ridicules. I have a Jackson Kelly, and a BC Rich Iron Bird Platinum edition. This is by far a better guitar. IMHO

i love it the axe sounds amazing, it has very high output, crystal clear sound no hum or buzz from the pickups, if there is its the amp lol, the neck is sweet, the over all balance of the guitar is great, its not neck heavy at all. the floyd rose never comes out of tune once you stretch your strings.
