a lot of soldiers in the forces bring packets of spices and other flavours to liven it up a bit. I remember tasting my dads rations when he bought them home, its lke eating wet cardboard!

@BDFPA Well, most of the food is shitty, because all the nice fresh food goes off. I saw a story of a squad stationed at an outpost. Because supplies cound't reach him, he had to live on spam for a month.
