Thanks for the positive feedback! I agree! Would that there were more people like us in the world. I am a humble person, but I do take pride in my universalism with regard to prayer and song to the one and only God.
I am not a Muslim -- I am a Sikh, but I enjoy listening to Qawwali. I believe that prayer and music, a Muslim Qawwal or Kirtan of the Sikhs, or that of other religions, are all rivers leading back to the same Divine essence. I am always saddened when people feel compelled to say critical, insulting things about any effort to connect with God.
ALLAH apke dil may apni muhabbat dale q k jin logo k dil may ALLAH or uske NABI (S.A.W) ka ishq hota hai wo us har chez ko pasand karta hai jis may ALLAH ka nam ho But if you have love
There is tons of good Qawwali, just as there are many different styles of Qawwali, the state of which is not something best judged via availability on YouTube.
Also, in what little time I have studied Qawwali, I have learned NFAK and Sabri in their tenures both did many things considered "selling out" in terms of instrumentation, performance, venue and tradition.
these qawwaliz are totally commercialized. For God's sake, it is even beeter not to term them as qawwliz, in fact. The undisputed Aziz Mian, Sabri Brothers and NFAK can never be even copied. Qawwali has i gess come to an end, finally.
I wonder how these singers would sound if they got into Rossini opera... Their voices move so quickly when they do their ornaments. They should definitely sing opera
wow, someone who has actuallly read the sahihs! lol no one bothers nowadays and yeah i wish people would stop saying things are haraam based on hearsay (i've read the sahis too) read them people. you may learn something
jazakallah i'm not very religious but to read hadith means to aquire knowledge and better one's logic. The sahabi i've named from Sahih Bukhari have been renowned by 140 Sahabi for their memory and reliability in conveying hadiths. So these are infact strong hadiths.
Ibn Masud narrates that when they were in Abbyssinia he asked the Prophet SAW* if he would condemn they're song and dance. The Prophet SAW* replied, "How can i forbid someone their play."
people who say music is not allowed in islam, please quote your references as it is not agreed by all scholars that music is actually haraam, this stuff is really uplifting and spiritual, thanks for posting it up!
I agree Aisha R.A. (peace be upon her) narrated that the Prophet SAW* asked her if she had sent singers to the house of an Ansaari and said that the Ansaaris are fond of singing. (found in Sahih Bukhari).

Nice song and he is saying it very well.
I know people may choose to compare it with Nusrat, but life has to go on, and I think this Qawwali is acceptable, and better.
Thanks for posting
