At almost 7" deep you would be losing a lot of leg room but they only need 1cf of air space for ported so that might be doable in a wedge style box.

I think with a single 12 you should be able to fit it back there and not lose any room.

There's always the option of a shallow mount sub. Check out the JL's they look bad ass.
