  • Real nice. Im looking to buy an 04 G Sedan by summer. Is this a full exhaust setup?

  • @LivinLargeOrg Nope, just a muffler. If you're in So Cal I can refer you to the shop that sells it and installs it. The guy can make you full custom exhaust, which I wasn't going to do but I got out of the modding scene. He also makes his own test pipes. Rare find on G's and Z's but I know a couple people running them. They're LaBree test pipes.

  • helllaflush

  • Sounds great man

  • Damn yo, you're tucked. Sweet.

  • holy shit look at all that camber, brings a tear to my eye.

  • Would this happen to be an atlanta area car would it?

  • @srryexcuse247 Nope, So Cal. I know who's car you're talkin about. Dude's name is Cliff. He's got a sick whip too.

  • @donpistovp yeah ive never even seen it in person lol. probably will sunday at IA

  • negative camber for dayzzzz

  • Did you ever do the drive by? Im interested in this setup. I ethier would get this or Megan headers and pro n1 exhaust.

  • Nice setup.. What parts would I need to get from the coupe for this setup?? Would like to know before I start buying parts

  • @sdchargers4life1 Thanks. For the coupe it would be a bit different. Unless you want to run a single exit exhaust then you could run the same muffler as I am. There is probably a Sebring muffler though that has 2 outlets so you can still run a tip on both ends of the rear bumper.

  • Where did you purchase your midpipe, and is the midpipe from a 2006 coupe as well or does the year matter.

  • @tcufan09 I bought it off a forum member from the g35driver forum. Year wouldn't matter as long as it's from the 35 coupe, not the 37. I'm not sure exactly what year mine came from.

  • @donpistovp How was the install, any problems or did it swap out just fine?

  • @tcufan09 It's a universal muffler so you will need to take it to a muffler shop that can customize it. You can either cut the midpipe where it would meet the muffler and have a whole new pipe welded or do what I did. Cut off the OEM muffler close to the midpipe and have some pipping welded. You'll be out an OEM muffler but those can be replaced for under $40. My fitment came out perfect. The installer did an excellent job.

  • Looks like you "may" have a little bit of uneven tire wear going on there LOL ;)

Your exhaust sounds really good man... Nice G35 too.

  • whats up with your camber angle man?? little bit extreme dont you think?

  • @srryexcuse247 Extreme yes. And it's because of the wheels I put on there. They were 20x10.5 +0 and I was trying to clear them, but never could since it would hit the inner fender and scrape the wheel.

Since then the rears went up front and I got 20x11 -12. Coulda done a lower offset since it still scrapes the wheel but at this point I can care less.

  • do you know how big an oval this muffler is? like 5x8 Oval?

  • @tsslaporte the tips or the muffler canister?

  • @donpistovp

    Canister

  • do you have a video with this muffler but stock cat?

  • @silwrx12 Not yet. I actually switched back to stock cats not too long ago, but they're messed up. I have to get another set of oem cats installed. Prob will get one up in a couple weeks. I don't want to deal with the hassle of replacing the cats myself. So hard especially without a lift.

  • where did u get that muffler?

  • @alexh521 I got it from Labree Motorsports (dot com). The shop is not too far from me so I bought it in person and had them modify it to fit my car. It's a universal muffler that needs piping to connect to the factory piping.

  • @donpistovp How much was it?

  • @alexh521 Muffler with install and fab work cost me 180.

  • y is ur tire tilted?

  • @diego14brproduction So I could fit the wheel and keep the tire within the fender. It's a 20x10.5 with a +0 offset. Replacing it with a 20x11 with -12 offset in a couple weeks.

  • @donpistovp oh ok nice nice

  • did this muffler add any power to it??

  • @Dani01c I had no muffler before this so I did feel a bit more low end. But mufflers in general aren't going to make a huge difference, especially without a tune.

  • @donpistovp well, im planning on reflashing the ecu but first i want to put some bold ons plus plenum spacer, but im not sure what exhaust, was this just axle back or the whole exhaust system?

  • @Dani01c This is just an axle back with Kinetix test pipes and a coupe midpipe. Gonna get rid of the test pipes once I find some good OEM cats. My OEM's are all banged up and might have something wrong with them from being too low (bout an inch or so lower than what it's at now.

I'll be going with Labree test pipes down the line though.

  • do you really think it looks good that your wheels are about to snap off? lmao

  • @romanknight6 Yes. If I didn't, you think I would do it? Kinda of a lame question, unless it was rhetorical.

  • @donpistovp yes it was rhetorical, but come on dude change ur wheels D:

  • @romanknight6 I actually am. The old rears (20x10.5 +0) are now going up front and I'm picking up the new rears (20x11 -12) tomorrow ;)

  • @donpistovp i know thos look sick on a 350z but never seen em on a G, post a vid!!!!!!!

  • @romanknight6 I will in about a month or so. Need to get tires, pull fenders more, adjust the suspension and alignment. Still need to get my bumper painted and interior done. Trying to get all that done within the next month.

  • Yeah I understand the look your going for, but the look is retarded. There is notthing agressive about it. It kills performance and ruins the tires. The look might be "cool" within a small circle or retards, but when you ask a true performance and tunning enthusiast, you;; hear the same response: this is a fad and looks retarded. my 2 cents.

  • @nuzayets5 Lol @ nothing aggressive about it. Hahaha. Find another G sedan with as aggressive of on offset that I'm running. Closest you'll find is about a 6mm difference and that's with 19's. 19's are MUCH easier to work with. Now, that difference will be 25mm, pretty much a full inch.

And you tell me to check with a "true performance and tuning enthusiast" what they think. Do you really think I'm looking for that? You can't really get much out the G unless you go FI.

  • @nuzayets5 You talk about me going with my lil circle and enjoying it, but what about your lil circle you speak of? I can care less if you like it or not, everyone has different tastes. Me personally, I don't like tucked wheels.

I guess it is a fad, a fad that has been going on for 10+ years. I think that surpasses the qualification of a fad.

Before you try to put me and down and think you're making me look stupid, re-read what you wrote and realize how ignorant you are. Just my 2 cents :p

  • HellaFlush

  • y do you have so much caster on those back wheels

    ?

  • It's camber..and it's so that I can fit the wheels and be legal. Wheels and tires must be within the fender.

I pulled the fenders and hammered them out as much as possible, and still the wheels poked out so my only option was to camber it..it's at -7.5 degrees...might add a few more degrees though or hammer inner part of fender more.

    I have 20 x 10.5 with a 0 offset. Fronts are cambered too but not as much (-4.7 degrees). Those are 20 x 9.5 with -12 offset.

  • i gotcha hahahaha damn laws but sounds so good, can you show me where you ordered this for because it sounds so sexyyy

  • Lol. I got it from a muffler shop I know of. Their website is labreemotorsports(dot)com.

  • ok thanks you on any infiniti forums?

  • @donpistovp Why dont you just get wheels that fit??? I mean whats the point of getting big ass tires if yout only riding on the inside edge of them??? Might as well have put a bicycle tire on the rear rims bro.

  • @nuzayets5 Yeh no kidding those rims look so foolish!

  • @Satch4lifez It's a hate it or love it thing. In person it still looks crazy, but at the angle the video was taken at it magnifies they craziness.

I've actually had people not like it lookin at pics, but when they see it in person some changed their mind.

There's better pics. Some newer, some older so basically the one that sits the most flush is the newer ones. You can type donpisto g35 in google images and come up with various pics.

Not gonna force anyone to like it, we all got diff tastes.

  • @donpistovp Yeh fair enuf they probably look insane in person.

  • @Satch4lifez If I could dial some positive camber I would, but I need metal work on the fenders. Eventually it'll come, but I'll have to go widebody

  • @nuzayets5 They do fit. Legally the tire must be within the fender, and they most certainly are :]

Stretching tires is nothing new, it's been around for a long time. You'll see it commonly on euro's.

The point is for the looks. Fitting as wide of a wheel & lowest offset as possible. In my case, what some people thought was impossible. And I'm actually putting the rears up front and gettin new rears. Will quite a bit more aggressive.

  • @shrty10135 Because I wanna have the most aggressive offsets on the G35 sedan. Gonna go more aggressive with fender work down the line.

It's a style...some like it, some don't. BTW, it's camber, not caster. I don't know of any other sedan with a 5" lip in the rear.

  • is this ebay?

  • Hell no! Lol. Sebring is an Australian company. Very popular with Audi's. A shop I know carries these and sells by special request. Quality on them are superb.

Looks nicer than the HKS, canister is not as big, tips are nicer too. Also, it's got a bit of a deeper and louder tone than the HKS. Not to mention, under half the price.

  • Oh man, sorry. I just thaught it was bcus I never heard of it. Let me know, if you know a website that sell this. Thanks,

  • hey yo bro... this exhaust sounds SUPER sickk.. way better than the hks... :)

and your car is herrraaa frushhhh :)
