  • Very nice. Favorited.

  • you explain what happened with the pettion in 1991 but why is it operating in 2010?

  • @cherkas009 They were certified by CARF out of Arizona. The Oklahoma Mental Health Board then folowed suite and granted them ceterfication in 1993. Ever since Narconon moved out of Newkirk, OK to Canadian, OK under the name of Narconon Arrowhead everyone has turned a blind eye to them. The Oklahoma Mental Health Board is now aware that Narconon is admistering Clonidine to the clients which violates their certification in Oklahoma. They have a lot of ties to our state government and lobbiest..CH

  • Nice piece Colin! For anyone out there seeking help for addiction (either alcohol or drug), the State of Oklahoma has treatment centers that can, and will help you for minimal cost. If you are indigent you can receive help for nearly nothing!!! There is hope. If you need help, you can contact any State mental health agency near you and they will help you get a referral to one of the rehab centers. IF YOU WANT IT, HELP IS THERE!

  • Asking Oklahoman's to take a look at this. Doing some research and Colin's story is the tip of an ugly iceberg I suspect.
