I had one of those, keep it out of the sun as that will stuff the plastic. Best bait is a small piece of raw liver about as big as a golf ball. Scoop most of the drowned flys out with about a 100 mm wire kitchen strainer and leave them where birds etc can find them. I had a 20 litre bucket full of them out of the trap, just flys! Caught one house fly about 15mm long! He was called Big Fly and took about a week to outwit, but I won the day. You need to empty that one and restart but.
