sugarcane does not grow in the rain forrests but in subtropical brazilean savannas ,where Brazil still have a huge surplus of unsed land Also the use of sweet sorghun could further reduce water and land use into making ETHANOL more efficiently They could well be suppliying Europe,USA,Japan and China with most of its car fuels this century! Colombia,Mexico ,Peru,Argentina,Paraguay,Boliv­ia and Venezuela could follow the boom reestablishing the sugarcane industry in Latin America for good!
