Same reason why the Big 5 have four teams every year in the Champs league......biggest countries and most revenue gained for UEFA & FIFA...................great teams of the past now have no chance. They are not interested in anyone other than their own financial gain...........they only have power if you let them................take away the clubs and start your own federation that will soon make them stand up and take heed.

What they are saying here is the truth, this is driven by money, point at hand south american qualifier, ecuador vs uruguay, when a clear call for a penalty, with a handball right in front of the referee inside the uruguayan box would have given ecuador a pass to the world cup was not even aknowledged, and why that was? to give argentina a straight pass to the world cup, and let's face it, who would sell more tickets ecuador or argentina?
