If had one as a pet, I'd give it all the free time it wants........ The only reason my ferrets aren't free all day long is because they can get stuck in the radiators, and also, ferrets prefer to sleep most of the day, anyway (14-18 hours per day). I keep them out for 10 hours a day, in my room, where they are happy and play all of the time.

He rather be in his cage because he knows there is food and when he is not in his cage he walks out and just goes straight in the house!! he would perfer the house and cage way more tan wildlife all raccoons would perfer that they just don't all have the chance
