But the real question is if the Counselor John 14 is talking about the Spirit or a man (a future prophet of God), not whether a prophet of God is filled with the Holy Spirit. Verse 25 & 26 suggest it is the Spirit of God that was poured out on all the prophets will now be poured out on all believers. HE IS MUCH MORE A SON OF GOD AS THE SENSE WHERE IT IS SAID AS MANY AS ARE FILLED WITH SPIRIT ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. SO ACKNOWLEDGE ALL HIS CHILDREN ADAM MOSES ABRAHAM ETC.

@jalilsaif IF U HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEN U WOULDN'T B FOLLOWING ISLAM, WHICH HAS NOTHING OF GOD IN IT. THE BIBLE + ISLAM HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON. THE BIBLE OFFERS HOPE. THE KORAN TWISTS THE TRUTH. THE GOD OF THE BIBLE LEADS 2 REPENTANCE, THEROUGH FAITH/TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST, + RECEIVING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO LEADS 2 ALL TRUTH. @jalilsaif You have read the Bible, and you have been in both Christian and Muslim camp, I respect that! Please tell me, from your perspective, if the Counselor in John 14 is talking about a future prophet, and not the Spirit of God, how come in verse 25 & 26 use the word Holy Spirit? Is this one of the names used for Muhammad? Salam,

@Drooblemeister My honest and straight forward opinion is that the 2 can be present at the same time you can not have a prophet who lacks the holy spirit each and every profit was filled with it.

I agree with you that every prophet was filled with the Holy Spirit. But the real question is if the Counselor John 14 is talking about the Spirit or a man (a future prophet of God), not whether a prophet of God is filled with the Holy Spirit. Verse 25 & 26 suggest it is the Spirit of God that was poured out on all the prophets will now be poured out on all believers. Today, because of Jesus every Christ-follower has the Holy Spirit living inside of them as Jesus and the prophets did!
