See, for me it was the opposite effect. I felt that her covering her breast added to the oddness, wrongness, of the situation for her. I mean the story is a bit vague, intentionally, but it's pretty clear that she wakes up and something is clearly amiss, it's not even clear she's in the right body (to me). Thus being naked is part of what's out of place for her, thus the need to cover up.
I think the story is about the girl trying to find a part of her. The innocent angel of her youth maybe.
