  • It's only major downfall is the fact that Ford STILL insists on NOT using an independent rear suspension. When will Ford wake up? I will like mustangs once they convert to an IRS!!!Till then, mustangs will always handle like i double decker bus going around a bend with a bloated beached whale strapped atop it's roof.

  • @yourmustangsajoke

0.96G (Avg) and 72 mph in the slalom is hardly handling like a double decker bus LOL. In motor trend it beat the new M3 in handling G's, slalom and the figure 8. If the 5.0 mustang doesn't handle well, then neither does the new BMW M3.

Plus, the solid rear axle is much better for drag racing as well. I drove a new 5.0 and it had a great ride...So the solid axle didn't affect that. The way it's set up, I would rather it be a solid rear axle. It's the best one ever made.

  • You were hauling ass....Nice Driving! Question for you: Is your car completely stock? If it is that's just crazy. People are saying this is the best Mustang ever coming from the factory. I can't wait til mine comes in :)

  • @SuperNzYme - Thanks. It's a totally stock 2011 Mustang GT. With the Brembo package and 3.73 rear. Car had less than 1000 miles on it when this was shot. So not even broken in yet!!!

  • Love these track videos of the 2011 gt, hard to find.

  • Excellent video, I almost thought that I was driving :) Please post a longer vid!
