  • r.d burman is a great musician, but he has copied a lot of songs from english to make his projects.

  • @anilkumarshinu This is not to agree or disagree whether rd copied or not. I really do not think copying should be thought about something bad. sitting today with internet all over and around we speak about copying from other songs. but i think more that copying gave us to listen to a music which we might not have got a chance to hear at all..

copying the right music and making a melody out of it in a different language is a big skill similar to our copying in the exams and getting high scores

  • @dgarindam1983 I can show one example. The song "Mehabooba" is direct lift from Demis Roussoss’s Say You Love Me.

  • @anilkumarshinu Dear Sir, I wouldn't use the word, "copying". Perhaps the word, "editing", or "enhancing" or "blending" or even "transforming" would be better words. R. D. blended western music with eastern in a manner that would only suit a genious. His speciality was the way he would use rhythm. If you don't have training in music, you can never catch his rhythm. His music may be described as "fantastic".

  • @anilkumarshinu

    so what

  • disagreeing to the above statement.......not two genius ,but one thats RD and not SPB

  • no one come even near to rd's composition, greatest ever.

  • @dgarindam1983 Thanks for the upload, just love the song. It has slight hints of the song "Ruk jana nahi kahi haar kay" and a bit feel of David Gilmore guitar (shine on you crazy diamond), the introduction is just so haunting

  • heart touching music composition

    wow u said so correctly

and yes today's era is more of item songs with cheap lyrics and out of sync singers

gone are the days of rafi, lata, kishore, asha, udit, sanu, abhijeet, alka, anuradha, kavita...last of the league left is sonu nigam but he too complains on the non-availablity of gud songs.

  • Awsome!!!!!!!!!

  • the greatst song

  • r d made this song both in bengali and hindi...in bengali r.d. himself sang this song and hindi he composed but s.p. balasubramaniam sang it... i think r.d.burman much sang better than s.p.balasubramaniam.

  • @rajeev10able dai who r u to say this "r d" sir is better than ..... "SPB" sir......u not even a dust before those guys keep ur suggestion in ur bleedy mind.........mind it

  • @sureshbalaji50 hey u idiot..u didn't understand what i said. this song composed by r.d bengali and hindi and r.d. himself sand in bengali and s.p. sang in hindi. r d. sang better sure in this particular song. that doesn't mean one is better than other..listen u stupid dumb ass, too much of idly makes u dumb ass. try some protein like meat or fish. its sharpen brain. protein develops brain cells. so too much of idly dhosa, vegetables making u ppl dumb and thats why u didn't understand.

  • heart touching, one of the classics of all time

  • no body could have sung this song better than ballu bhaiya...luv this song..thanx for sharing dgarindam1983 boss

  • No body could have sung this song better than ballu bhaiya....luv this song..thanx dgarindam1983 boss

  • one of the best conpositon

  • we miss you R.D

  • Seriously you are the BOSS...

  • this is the best composition sung by balsubramanyam

  • the bengali version " tumi koto je dure" sung by the maestro himself is one of the best bengali compositions ever made. A tragic song can be such beautiful if it has only been touched by the midas himself (read RDB).

  • Really...Can't get enough of it...what a beautiful composition.....Kudos

  • rediscovering the music of Sagar... n its kinda beautiful ...

  • Ultimate SP Balasubramniam ur simply great singer

  • SP at his best.

  • I was looking for this song for quite some time now imagine if Kishore Kumar sung this song, having said this even SP has done a great job

  • The beats and the guitar sound a lot like the intro bit in "Ammayi muddu ivvande" from "Kshana kshanam."

Keeravani might have been 'inspired' by this song.

Extraordinary song by Pancham da. Kudos.

  • The prelude tune of this was also used in the movie Saagar, when Rishi Kapoor sees Dimple for the first time taking bath in the sea

  • what combination!!!!! rd and sp, dream team and a dream song, like floating on silk on cloud nine

  • very refreshing song, was done in 80's but sounds very modern, superb

  • S.P.Balasubramaniam singing for Pancham Da.. can't get any better than this.. one of the most romantic songs in the history of Hindi cinema!!

  • sung by SP Balasubramaniam..the living legend

  • evergreen!! the most romantic ever!!!

  • this is not just a song...............

    the soul-song of nature

    singing through mesmerizing RDBurman!!!!!!!!

  • @balochiiii RD Burman sang this?

  • SP Bala from Tamil

  • @sithikatt4 telugu dude....

  • @sithikatt4

    two things,

    first correct your english,

secong SP Balasubramaniam is not tamilian and he is from Andhra Pradesh

  • @mdprasad123

I stand corrected on his origins. I know of SPB from listening to his Tamil songs mostly.

I am really interested only in appreciating music not someone's place of birth.

Your comments are rude and uncalled for. Your comments shout out the following." Poor schooling and and an unread person"

It will be a cold day in hell before you can deign to teach me English. You must be every lonely to spend time trawling the net for people to rub the wrong way,

    what a moron and imbecile.!

  • @sithikatt4

Dude, your comment reflects you. I was just correcting you. If you really feel so offended if someone corrects you, then you should be mindful of about what your writing in the first place.

    Just chill dude

  • @mdprasad123

I was minding my own business before you poked your snout into where it does not belong. Using words like dude or chill does not make you cool or absolve you of being an uninvited boor. Why don't you take your own advice and chill ?

  • @asifoct Urdu Hindi ke bina yateem hai. Hindi Urdu ki maa hai. Janam dene wali maa kehlati

  • @johnangelo2000

hindi song ++ aap hame aadesh kare to hum prem ka shri ganesh kare...this hindi song,

  • @sujaydani12 Dear just try to look for semantics. Urdu was developed in India (Primarily in Lucknow and without the local dilect the language development wouldn't have been possible. )

  • excellence of r.d. burman.
