every car should be the same, they can only adjust it with the stuff there given, or put a cap on the amount they can spend on 1 car... that would make f1 alot more fair and better to watch
...Although, Bernie Ecclestone is very keen to increase the size of the grid and also introduce cost capping, hopefully bringing up to 26 cars on the grid by 2010/2011. Money will be less of an issue then and it seems to be this season also, yet when this video was made, an individual driver's skill was less likely to show in Formula 1 than it would be in say Moto GP or karting. Sad but certainly not wrong.
...The cars are very physical to drive and a good driver will always show, no matter what the car is like; however, that doesn't always show in results. Up until 2008, it was all about cash, there are always a few surprises a long the way but ultimately the big teams always did better. That's why spyker are no longer with us and also super aguri which meant there are now only 20 cars on the grid. ...
actually... it is more about the car than the driver. A great driver in a bad car will usually do badly, hence ferrari and mclaren's struggle at the start of this season. It's very fair to say that in 2007 and before that the technology side was too invasive, that's one of the reason's for all the recent changes. Obviously whoever commented back to this felt very passionate about what they were saying but I'm afraid they are wrong....
Shut up...Im not gunna get technical but seriously you seem to no next to nothing about F1 to make a comment like that. If skills are of little importance due to this "technology" thats, i presume you mean "drives the car for them", why would teams pay the drivers excessive amounts of money thats higher than the average footballers wage? Obviously they do require a huge amount of skill and fitness to handle, so seriously, dont run your mouth on stuff you know nothing about.

What a phenomenal amount of cash it seems to require in order to be an 'also ran' in F1....
It's now so cash and technology dependent that a great driver is less and less of a requirement. If you like to see human skills
making the difference on the racetrack go watch MotoGp or a good Kartrace..............
