@ProfessorLongbottom I use a cheap microphone from wal-mart and a music program... I forget it's name now because I lost it when my computer crashed, but it wasn't anything fancy! I'm sure you can do way better :)
Its a myth that you can open and close pores with just hot vs. cold water. Our pores do not have any muscles and do not open and close. What we see as "opening" and "closing" is our pores reactions to either being clogged by gunk (causing the "open" look) or our pores reaction to our facial tissue swelling from astringents (causing the "closed" look). Sorry that is the science of it.
I know you say you're half German and half Japanese, but I could swear you look black Irish. Well, considering the Viking invasions in Ireland and theories that the Celtic people came from Asia, maybe they look like you for a reason.
Well, if you want to get technical, Black Irish are descendants of (original) Irish and Spaniards, creating the pale skin inherited from the Irish, but the dark hair and eyes from the Spaniards.
I have a Great Grandma that was Black Irish, so that is why I know... but she doesn't create the majority of my heritage, so I don't think to mention it.
Good tips! Isn't that Jergens lotion meant for your body? I have such sensitive skin that I have to be really choosy about the products I put on my face.
It doesn't say that it is specifically for the body, but then again, I do not have any allergic reactions to any lotions I've come across... so for someone of sensitive skin such as yourself, it only makes sense to choose specialized lotions :)
hmm..i use sugar very lightly since it's natural and wash away really good with philosophy purity, and use mint julep once a week, but it's very drying so only 10-15 minutes does the job
I have to say that you really aced the key points. You got the type of water to use correct and the secretive fact that you need to massage your face in an upward motion when cleansing.
I'm really impressed! Your skin looks like charming porcelain by the way, very gorgeous.
Thank you! I recommend using a cleanser that is perfume free, and doesn't dry out skin. (ex, "Deep Clean, Neutrogena")
Then use a toner or astringent after you wash to tighten your pores and wash away any dirt or dead skin that might be left.
After you wash and tone, moisturize your skin with an oil and scent-free moisturizer.
I also suggest using a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin, dirt, and other impurities that can clog pores and cause blemishes - Like I used in the vid.
Also, you might want to consider the sources which may be causing your blemishes? Age, diet, stress and bad skin care are some main causes to blemishes... if it's truly a bad case, you might also want to consider seeing a dermatologist... Please Take care! :)
Wow, your videos are so great! They are really helpful. I love your song, by the way! I'll definately try this routine. One question- do you know of any moisturizers that are good for oily skin? I used to use a moisturizer but it made my skin kind of oily-er so now I have stopped, but I would like to start again because I've noticed that my skin was a lot clearer when I used the moisturizer. Any suggestions?
Oily skin can be tricky! They say that if you have an excess of oily skin, then perhaps you don't even need a moisturizer following a facial cleans, as your skin is already acting as it's own "lotion". But there are special moisturizers designed for oily skin, such as "clean skin oil-free lotion" from Kohls, or "Skin Balancing Daily Mattifying Lotion" with a SPF 15 - which are good. Look for words such as "Balancing" and definitely "for oily skin".
I loved the video! You look so beautiful without makeup. =) You're skin looks really clear and acne-free; I have a lot of blackheads and have no idea how to deal with them. Any ideas?
Thank you! ^_^ Back heads can be a royal pain! I think the most important thing for skin, is being able to "breath"... if your skin is covered in lots of make-up and/or moisturizers, it has the tendency to clog the pores and fill with grime. Purchase a facial cleanser and acne cream that contain salicylic acid, which will help dry out the oil in the pores. Some facial cleansers have exfoliating beads that help too(such as the Olay Regenerate, that I used).
Another thing that I'd like to reinforce, is allowing your skin to become warm through the warm water and steam to open your pores. This will also really help with the blackheads! Good luck! ^_^
Wow! Your so lucky you don't need make-up to look pretty, i don't feel confident enough to even go to school without a hint of foundation on my imperfections. Hopefully this routine will help me get clear and healthy skin - like yours. ^_^
First off, I love that your song. Very soothing and absoluty beautiful.
Secondly, I noticed you never used a wash cloth...personally I feel less clean when I wash my face with my hands...but then again I never use a wash cloth when I use a scrub or anything with "beads". hah. Now I am just talking in circles...I guess I am just curious as to A. Whether or not you use a wash cloth and why or why not and B. Do you use a scrub every single day?
Oops, I removed your 2nd comment, I'm sorry about that :(
Thank you for your comments! Actually, I never use a wash-cloth.. maybe that's just because I try to conserve on laundry, or because I can't stand the texture against my wet face... haha! :)
No, I suppose I do not use the scrub everyday. I switch back and forth between this and a smooth cleanser.. but the beads in this cleanser aren't as harsh as some, so it's is perfectly alright to use once a day :)
That's just what I am worried about is the scrubs being to harsh to use everyday...I might try this one though! I have been looking for something of this sort...thanks! Besides, it seems to be working for ya! Well done.
I just love the songs in your videos :) hugs from chile :D looking forward for more tutorials :)

For under the eye, you should work from the outside of your eye in, so you don't create more wrinkles. I just learned that yesterday
