@ksmithdc pinch harmonics has little if not nothing to do with what kind of guitar you're playing... you can make pinch harmonics out of a acoustic guitar, if you know how to do it. In this videos case, its just sounding like that cuz his signal is really overdriven...
@kokonutssss Not ENTIRELY true. More dense wood gets a better sound alltogether, including from pinch harmonics. You can do them on Acoustic guitars, they just don't sound nearly as bad ass (because, like you said, no distortion)

the pinacle of rock were Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, and the 90s grunge scene with AIC, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden... And even if you want a rawer more brutal sound, Pantera is uncompareably better than anything coming from dudes in leather pants, big hair and musicaly nothing but technicality...

Kings of Leon is definitely not one of those bands, and among all the bands today, they probably have the most soul out of all the new bands today. And know their theory quite well. Just saying, they're the last bands I'd call talentless douches.

@dreamofthemirrors completely agree man, but that doesn't mean that Kings of leon are bad you know? It's a diferent concept, just that. What you can't do is compare twoo styles that are so diferent. But I agree that nowadays people when hears good music like hard rock or metal, they say "ohh nooo that's too hard for me, I prefere justin bieber cause is very cute and his lyrics are so beautiful"... fuck this people...

@iteletnap this song belongs to the movie, was made entirely for it, however, Jeff sings it cause he put the voice in the movie, and Matijevic because he and SteelHeart were involved as you might allready know in the movie.
You can listen to this song with new lyrics in Sammy Hagar's album Not 4 Sale, due to the fact that, he compossed the song for the movie

the movie was based on judas priest and him leaving the band and anouncing he was gay among other things steelheart another great band only inspired the name steeldragon and matijevic the lead singer for steelheart after recovering from and accident which caused the band to collapse did the voice overs for mark in the movie and we all die young was an origional song by steelheart but zakk and the band just redid it

I have the soundtrack and the movie.. the directors commentary and the soundtrack both say that jeff scott soto does all the vocals for mark wahlberg except on the song WE all die young!!!! That one is done by Mike Matejevic from steelheart!!! Do your home work!!! The last song in themovie called colorful that mark sings in seattle is voiced over by trevor raben

You might know this already, but it was Matijevic who did the vocals for Wahlberg. I even contacted Jeffs manager, and he said: "Jeff originally auditioned to supply the voice for Wahlberg but producers found his voice ‘too mature and seasoned’ to emulate the ‘newbie’ so it was decided Jeff’s voice would be for the original singer of ‘Steel Dragon’, Bobby Beers."

@xDragonTriadx Dude you seriously are a fucking retard. Michael Matijevik DID all the vocals for Mark except for the last song. Where he sang in the cafe. The ONLY vocals Soto did was when Izzy (Mark) went to the steel dragon concert and saw that guy singing on stage thats the only time he sang vocals for anything in that damn movie. Ive seen it thousands of times, and watched the end credits thousands of damn times. You obviously need to learn to read, and learn the facts before you speak.

@blaahvid the movie is not based soleley on priest. Its also based on a documentary done about metal bands that was put out in the late seventies. A compilation of several bands and the things that happen durring their reign. Watch the directors commentary.
