Also it would seem if it corrupts it will use the last save you did (maybe Prior to the glitch trick) it seems 68% safe to me.

This is not good to do, it will corrupt your save file, one thing is that it will not allow timed events. Well, do it if you want your save file to corrupt, its your own fault, but its a cool glitch.
