did you know the audio is not removed when you detach and delete? if you don't believe me go back to audio tab once youve done it then put the volume back up.
How exactly would I remove my video rather than the audio? I'm making a documentary, and I want to remove myself and add in pictures, while keeping the audio
@TheGhostsSoul Use the 'cutaway' feature on iMovie. First of all, make sure that 'Advanced Tools' are checked in iMovie Preferences and you're good to go. Suggestion, make your replacement graphics on iWork Keynote, setting the slide size to 1080 to match the movie. Easier thing is to create a slideshow in iPhoto and export as a movie, subsequently importing that into iMovie. That's your replacement video that you will cutaway to. Have fun!
hey man! nice vid. I have an iMovie project that I created on a different computer, but I saved in on an external hard drive. I tried opening it on another computer and it doesnt open it. On the file it says it 61 MB, but when I double click it nothing happens. Is there anything I should do. PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS
I tried both of these methods but every time I export the movie the sound is still there. I'm using iMovie 09 did exactly as you said, saw all the same things, etc. When I play it in iMovie the sound is gone but comes back when I view the exported movie.
how do i remove the audio from the song i layyed over the entire movie i made? i just want instrumentls of the song not the lyrics. the lyrics drown out the movie.
Thank you. This was extremely helpful.
