  • If there would be a way to recreate the pride and unity they had, without founding it all around hatred and discrimination, many many countries could benefit from that.

  • One of the greatest scene in movie history.

  • The song AND the sentiment ARE beautiful. Hitlers use of it does NOT detract from it. I am mostly Scott, and proud of it. I love my heritage, and THAT is not rascist. The fact that Hitler was batship crazy, and so were his henchmen, was the problem. Masses of people are always manipulated. Many, in America, are being manipulated today.

  • Evil is often difficult to detect. Sometimes what appears to be beautiful is actually monstrous.

  • was watching this, and thought it was a nice song...before the whole nazi stuff. Then I was like 'whoa whoa settle down now'.

  • a GREAT and PROUD people that were led astray and did NOTHING to spread the curse of NAZIsm. Pray AMERICA will wake up before OBAMAism creates the same phobia in this GREAT land.

  • Yep, thats how the nazi system worked compressed into a song.

    Great work!

  • I like this song, I remember watching this movie as a child & how moving it was. It's probably the best & most important parts in Caberet.

The song presents how the german people we're manipulated by the Nazi's through the use of properganda as examplified as a song here of togetherness & pride. People naturally have pride & want to be part of anything that makes them feel it.

  • And you are the liberators of the world. Oh come on you just want to be the police of the world and "keep peace in the world". You just goed to vietnam to "help" vietnamese. And now you goed to the Irak and Afkanistan to"bring peace" yeah right all you have done is bringed the economy down and millions of people are suffering from it and I only blame you... In some states you still have the death penalty in use when Germany nor any other European country uses it how unhumain is that??

  • if the West AND the Soviet Union didn't stop it...

  • Did the Nazis and Hitler save Europe from communism? Very difficult question.

What did the Jewish Revolution in Russia 1917 mean for building up Nazis hatred against the jews?

  • Tommorow did belong to the Nazi's and what a horrible tommorow it was. Millions sacrificed because of the sordid whim of evil incarnate. I think this song, in the film, was meant to illustrate how many of the German youth had become corrupted by the desings of that evil man and his cowardly henchmen.

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • These boys are estimated to be responsible for the deaths of around 60,000,000 people. They did all this for one reason only: in order to rob the corpses of their victims.

  • once again! it´s not a nazi song! it is written by two american jews. a parody of nazi songs and to make fun of them nazis. i admit, it is a very beautiful song and I love listen to it!

  • One of the best Nationalist songs ever. Great movie too.

  • Its from the movie Cabaret, by Bob Fosse.

  • not all nazi 4 gay iam nazi iam not gay and i liek being nazi 4 ever

  • what movie is this

  • Krose098, its sad to hear you say that your ashamed to be white. :(

  • yes it is! i not ashamed...i have no reason to be!

  • here here!!! im so ashamed to be white when i hear coments like laugerjr's

  • why are nazis so gay?

  • Great song. To bad the weak minded are scare of proud white people.

  • nice song for an horrible time

  • Funny that neo-Nazi groups would adopt this song written by two Jewish song-writers as "their" anthem. It was meant to be horrifying - seductive evil hidden behind a cherubic face and beautiful lyrics. Bravo to Kander and Ebb!

  • Now Fatherland, Fatherland, show us the sign

Your children have waited to see

    The morning will come

    When the world is mine

    Tomorrow belongs to me

  • The sun on the meadow is summery warm The stag in the forest runs free But gathered together to greet the storm Tomorrow belongs to me The branch on the linden is leafy and green The Rhine gives its gold to the sea But somewhere a glory awaits unseen Tomorrow belongs to me The babe in his cradle is closing his eyes The blossom embraces the bee But soon says the whisper, arise, arise Tomorrow belongs to me
  • Thank you for writing down all the words! My Father loved this song and so do I!
