What is the purpose of the "D" sign across the front bumper of the tractor?

@imboden2 This is the sign used in Canada for over-dimensional loads. Since Canada has 2 official languages (french and english) they had to find something that could be used in english communities as well as french communities. The yellow "oversize load" sign is also used in some english provinces but is not legal in Québec and New-Brunswick... The "D" sign is legal all across the country.
