@Jean3boi777 The rockstar is a nice yoyo. I really like the design. However, it has a fixed gap so you can't adjust. Now, with that i'd say the sttring has too much/little tension on the line. Might try throwing a couple "UFO's" and see if that helps.

There are a few things that can help you do this trick. If the yo-yo keeps bouncing out of the string, make sure your non-throw hand index finger stays straight, and that the front and back strings (The ones the yo-yo bounces on) are pretty much parallel, so keep your index finger stiff.

there's another way of learning this trick. when u already know how the yoyo bounces, try doing in front side that starts with a trapeze. once u get used to it, try the normal way but lower it like doing the trick around ur hips area. it's easy bcos ur looking it from above. it worked for me. good luck

try slowing things down a bit and focus on the up and down movement. You are probably jerking the string, which is why it isn't bouncing. BTW, keep your non-throwhand stiff and tight, that way the yoyo won't bounce out

Sorry if i've got it wrong, but it sounds like you have a very unresponsive yoyo. It's a good thing, as it allows you to do complex string tricks, but it does mean that you need to learn how to bind. Search it up on youtube and you'll find plenty of tutorials. Once you get it, it quickly becomes habit and you won't have to worry about it any more, plus it's really easy to learn in the first place.
