To settle the debates with this game and dead space you need to remember one thing. There are two kinds of "scary games". Eminent danger (dead space) and assumed danger(fatal frame). Eminent danger means you know something is about to rip into your face and limbs, and can probably see it, or you have an idea of where it is ((continued in next comment))

The X-box one is a director's cut and is a bit different but it's the same ghosts (maybe they added a few, like that did for Fatal Frame 1) and storyline (except Fatal mode's ending, which only Xbox has. Only the ending is different there.)
