2 respond 2 the, "Why isn't Adele in this video?" question: You can just bet on it that she would have been available 2 shoot it but the producers decided 2 leave her out because they were stupidly fearful that the very sight of her singing w/ her powerfully sexy voice would have upstaged Daniel. I have not one doubt in my brain that the skinny blonde was brought in 2 divert attention from Adele's vocals because the industry is still in the dark ages when it comes to accepting voluptuous women.
I don't know why everyone is complaining that Adele isn't in the video. Artists release videos without their duet partners all the time. It's not like they necessarily intentionally kept her out of it. It's possible that she was busy touring or something and they wanted to make a video.
No, Adele wasn't touring in 2009, when the video was filmed, she wasn't even recording, she was basically snubbed, and can you tell me examples of duets where the featured artist doesn't appear.

Although i didnt feel how painful a breakup is.The Song...what touched me was the emotion coveyed in the voices of the singers.Especially at 2.26 the i look away part.That was intense.
This is such a gorgeous ballad, I remember when I first heard Adele, thinking she couldn't sing, and listening to her in this, such a change and Daniel is such a great talent. best male vocal since Paul Weller.
As for those who think Adele to be "obese" and fat, and the blonde more "attractive" because "that's the BIZ of music..." I must say that this girl, no matter how appealing she appears, she's boring and bland. Adele, with her voluptuousness and all is far more attractive, and of course talented. That's the thing about the UK, they produce actual TALENT, and are FAR less attached to image like the USA and all it's boring artists.
