If you're using a sound system with a subwoofer like me, turn off the subwoofer and listen only through the smaller speakers. If you're using regular computer speakers, open up the equalizer in whatever player and turn down the base ranges.  If all else fails, Google it.

@IRAMightyPirate Wait. What exactly are you rendering? You already have the video, and you already have the audio, and you don't appear to be doing anything special to the video. You could perhaps, with the right software, remux them together without transcoding (assuming you can find appropriate keyframes to cut at); that would save some time and video quality.

Of course, the time to learn the appropriate software might be more than it would save. Still, something to consider.
