@Balgoruisis yeah, I've studied a lot about the soviet union, about the correction camps and mines, like Vorkuta for example, a lot of men died in that camp, in the mines. Yeah the Soviet union had it's downsides as well but they still did better then they have been the past few years.
Well it is very complicated.Old Ussr had its good sides but also bad sides.I myself lived for long time in the Soviet Union. Education was for free, everyone had a work because if you didnt want to work you went to jail, but if you didnt join the party you lost chance for univerzity or good work and you ended in mines.If you comed from wealthy family or noble you had problem.I knew alot of people who spoke againts communist party and they all ended in jail for a long time.Sry for my English.
@Russiansaur as a current student I can varify that the little that we do learn about is that Stalin killed the Nicholas II and that he created a union based on communism and they tell us that communism is bad. After reading a little on the current economic status of Russia, wouldn't the average citizen have lived better during the days of the USSR rather than the current European capitalist system in power today?
