  • @GOSAULS For sure, this video is our from our Club Fly. However there is a club in Sioux City, less travel for you. Don't get me wrong, we'd like the members, but the Sioux City club might be better for you, I also hear they have a nice flying field there too. In fact on Sunday they had a club fly in Sioux City. I think they are the Sooland RC club, try finding them, I am certain they'd be happy to give you stick time on their planes, if not, come on out to Le Mars and we can help you.

  • @GOSAULS Are you a member of their club? The one guy in this video I believe is your president... Al Harms. If you're new and not a member and want to get into the hobby... you can get buddy-box flights here in Le Mars, or surely even in Sioux City for that matter. if interested for Le Mars message me.

  • As always, marvelous! I actually just bought a GuanLi P51 Mustang, but the throttle didn't work on the remote control, so I had to return the transmitter... In all truth Mr. Dave, you are the one who got me into RC planes, and I thank you greatly :)

  • you are greet man

  • great vid,Dave! Semper Fi!

    hog batt 3rd batt 11th marines,'82-'85 oorah!

  • great vid,Dave! Semper Fi!

  • ah Dave after watching your vid lifes worth livin again ! great flyin , one blader heli is nuts! lol good flying from you all wish I was ther, hi from steve, New Zealand.

  • very nice

  • here's a heli question, when you first start to trim your heli, if it keeps trying to fly backward, what's wrong or need to be change, i have a alloy shark 3 channel.

(it gets up off the ground then start flying backward)

  • @oakland002 Im no dave but I can tell you that there is either a pushbutton or slider trim adjustment thing on your transmitter that you should move forward (or clik) till it stops going backwards

  • Great Video! Makes me want to break out all my old planes.

  • if you could patent the 1 rotor tech for real helicopters, imagine the money we could save in fuel economy on heli's. you wont have to power a tail, and you need less force to push 2 blades through the air. now all you need is a really good gyro system for it and you are set my friend.

  • Dire Straights!

  • Great Video Dave. Thumbs up for the Dire Straights soundtrack :)

  • Okay, now I want ice cream.

  • Great video nice flying field also. I think your helicopter buddy had a tail boom strike. Its caused by having to much aft cyclic and by having to much pitch in your blades at times. You're blades also flex in flight and vibration is a factor also when pulling extreme maneuvers with lots of g's.

  • Wow, thats a nice video Dave, thanks for sharing. The question that I had is, if I can use a 11.1 v battery in a honey bee fixed pitch? Thanks for your support. Best Regards

  • Another great Fun Day Fyin Dave thanks for sharing

  • BEEEEEPPPPPP!!!!!!

  • GREATE DAY DAVE !!!

Planes and good friends what else.

    Saludos desde Mexico.

  • 3D helis - work through variable pitch? I am raising my son up as a heli-man so need to know these things :)

  • whats with all the left hand props on the planes?

  • @vanepico I inverted the pictures of 2 of the planes for effect and your the first to notice. Also Notice the number on the Pt-19. Congratulations.

  • @NightFlyyer I noticed the numbers after I had posted the comment :P

  • PT-19?

  • Great video sir!

  • awesome

  • excellent video as always dave thanks for posting

  • Great job, Great fun!!! Happy Flying.

  • nice vid Dave, cool airplanes and helis, oh yes and I bet you loved the ice cream lol

  • lol shit happens

  • Looked like a great time!!!

  • Great video. We visited the Blue Bunny store several years ago....my daughter wanted to hi-jack a Wells Blue Bunny truck here in California..... :)!

  • Thanks for taking the time to upload and edit these great videos

  • bwhahaaha, brilliant work Dave, it definitely was a fun time, glad to have you! See ya next year!

the big copter crash, ended up being $214, all bolt on replacements. Libke's plane is in process of rebuilding. Mile's plane was fixed that night as well.

  • @rele30 Thanks kindly Rickey. We had fun as usual too. Be cool and happy flying. Dave

  • Just got my tonsils removed yesterday, eating whole ice cream bukkits at a time...

  • Great vid as always :-)

  • @Skydive4ever Thanks very kindly, skydiver4ever.

  • @Thercflyer96 It depends on when, but we could at least fly. You need to bring stuff to fly in the wind rain and snow and you will be covered. LOL. I'll Em you.

  • @NightFlyyer Well awesome! I'll check my email and it would be within the month and ill get back to you with a date and ill be driving, looking forward to it!

  • 3:15 Everyone enjoyed the Ice Cream and potato chips! Looked like a great day!

  • Ice cream and flying, what's not to love? Nice.

  • Any thaughts on the blade 450?

  • @awsem1o1 It is very nice quality, but I don't really need one personally. The 400 keeps me on my toes just fine, unless you wanna send me one. ~wink~

  • @NightFlyyer i want to buy one but there is limited funds right now so if you want you can pitch in :)

so in all seriousness would it be just like the blade 400

  • do they fly right next to a full scale airport? my club does and we have to land every time our radio picks a signal up from them

  • @cowkid540 It is close, but not right next to it. As long as they fly in front of the crowd as AMA rules require, they have no problem. You probably saw the full scale plane take off behind us. I saw no radios there. Just common sense. Thanks for the comment.

  • Now that looks like the perfect day! keep this youtube gold coming Dave ;-)

  • @daz28pike Thanks very kindly. I will try.

  • Looks like a good time and I have sure eaten my fair share of Blue Bunny Ice Cream. Now I know where it comes from. I better start eating so I can help keep all those people employed.

  • @raykiii Thanks. Yep is is sure good stuff....mmmm

  • Another great video. Sorry to hear the PT-19 had a midair. Hope it was repairable. The flying for fun, and the icecream for free, and can"t beat that. Tom

  • @beech18s Thanks Tom. Yep, It got hit from the bottom and knocked off a LG and wheel, cracked a Spar, and ripped the covering, all fixed with CA and Clear tape and lew it again within the hour.. But the Ice cream was the best part, all right. Happy flying, Dave

  • really loving the heli flying, wish i could learn to fly 3D like you

  • @theRCflyier Thanks kindly. Study my 9 heli flying tips (see my bio for the link) and practice practice practice. (especially on a good Simulator like the European AF 5.5) You can easily be better than me as I'm old now, and it is hard to teach an old dog, new tricks....but I keep on trying. You do the same.

  • Thats so cool.
