I asked Joe and he told me: "I use a gibson L5 with daddario round wounds with the 13 for the high E going through a fender deluxe amplifier.

@MysticMerlinsax Yes, damn right. Rounds all the way. That will silence those flatwound players for a little bit. Joe Cohn knows exactly what he is doing as a player every time he assumes the stage or plays one a recording. I use the same setup for my Eastman and everyone loves my tone. Bring back the rounds is all can say.
