@elfbrode & @SunshineSister I totally disagree with the eating poo bit.You are generalising there.I've never heard of any beagles eating shit.I have an 18month old & never has he done that.Beagles require company as they are pack animals so you can't just leave them to it.They also need a lot of exercise as they are working dogs & are fiercely independent so hard to train as they are led by their nose.

@elfbride be aware beagles are labor intensive and require a stay at home human. I've got multiples and am home with them pretty much 24/7. They are super smart and super sensitive hounds. they are awesome dogs but with the awesome comes high maintenance. they dig, they bark, they howl, they smell like hounds, and yes they eat poo.

Awesome Video. I have a beagle/terrier mix who sings when I play the piano. He is very serious, if I mess up he looks at me sternly and walks away. Beagles are amazing singers, my dog always sings in the same key that I play in, and he will on certain songs he sings only at the end, and ONLY if I play it all the way through. He likes the musical development I guess. By the way IT DOES NOT HURT THEIR EARS! Beagles would never do something they don't like, they are smart and hedonists to the max.

@ShadowWolf123100 The sound isn't hurting the dogs ears. Beagles hearing isn't even that good naturally. Those ears aren't for sounds, they're to hold scents close to the muzzle. If he can do 90 db. on that harmonica he still wouldn't hurt that dog, beagles can bark upward of 90 db.

Rest assured, Petey lives a more comfortable life than most human beings. When I run the vacuum cleaner or lawn mower, he goes elsewhere--he doesn't care for those sounds. Low tones on the harmonica triggers something primal in him, similar to what compels wolves and other canines to howl back and forth.
