Wow! Beautiful and Incredibly talented young ladies. . . ! Would love to attend one of your performances or concerts. . . Will be looking for your show appearances in the future!
@impala327 I'm sure you are excited for tomorrow night at 7:00!! Then the Texas Tornados at 9:00. Brave Combo Sunday at 7:00 pm. Might I also recommend the Jisun Choi Quartet Sunday at 11:30 am. She is a UNT alumni with absolutely amazing music.
So wonderful to hear good music and these girl do it right. The harmony and playing are so "together" and smooth; my hat's off to you! Absolutely love it
WOW.. and attractive!! nice swing western. yep thats what young people should be doin makin music. Although probly never beat these girls in accuracy!! I SAY WOW. thanks ladies. lrmill
After seeing and meeting them at the Grand Old Opry last week, I'm also ready for a new CD. What a delight! It was Grace's birthday Friday so all the best.
I am mostly a Jazz fan and I caught the Quebe Sisters Band on the Marty Stuart Show by chance - three young ladies from Texas with violins singing Fats Waller! There really is still hope for the country!
You guys are so good you made me cry. I showed this to my wife and she cried. I guess I've watched this about 15 times today. You guys are so very very good. Thanks for keeping Texas Swing Alive!!!
Joey McKenzie plays guitar with the band, he is a fine fiddler too! Drew Phelps plays upright bass. Neither of them are related to the Quebe sisters. The band will be in Nashville later this year to record another episode of The Marty Stuart Show - the best program on TV!!!
@kapacon Joey is a terrific guitarist and fiddler. Drew Phelps has been unofficially dubbed "The Cat's Meow." Listen to him in person, and you'll see why. ;-)
On Wednesday Nov 11 2009, the Quebe Sisters Band will be perform at the Western Heritage Cowboy Church in Pipe Creek Texas, just north of San Antonio. See their website for details.
Man I wish we could get music like this on the radio stations where I live.

(2:45) Looks like Gary Carter was ready to jump in on the pedal steel. I kind of wished he would have. They are perfect just the way they are!

@steelgreenhorn
Oh man, if they threw a pedal steel in on one of their tunes - especially if it was a Bob Wills tune - I think I might just die of sheer enjoyment.
