I've installed the skin under the My documents/rainmeter/skins/ But, when I tried loading those Ini files from the Rainmeter, it wouldn't load. Do you know what the problem is?

@PureOwnage20 ....probably because you're using "VirusTotal" if you're going to report false positives on one of my vids, the least you can do is A: realize that rainmeter is filled with false positives, and B: ATLEAST use a reliable source.

@StereoBreedMedia I think VirusTotal is a reliable source due to the fact that #Rainmeter on DeviantArt trusts VirusTotal to detect any malware coming into the Rainmeter skin gallery. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything but there's been a huge strain of malware in Rainmeter recently. It would be nice though if you could some how give the viewers links to the skins instead of a .rar file on mediafire.

@AkasukiDDR its called a false positive brah, i made the rar myself so obviously I went through scans before I would upload for anybody to use. Just because your ever so all mighty knowing anti-v says its a virus does not mean its a virus, ESPECIALLY when downloading files that pertain to system monitoring, can easily be mistaken

Just found out what was causing that horrible lag in rainmeter

Anyone running ESET (Wether it be NOD32 or ESS) Needs to make an exeption under the real time file system protection settings for all rainmeter folders:

Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter

Windows Vista & Win7: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter (Program Files (x86) for 64 bit users too)

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Rainmeter

Windows Vista & Win7: C:\Users\YourName\Appdata\Roam­ing\Rainmeter

Is here any way to get the foobar + winamp player skin on the left to work with wmp instead? Or is there a version of it someone has made to do so?

I realise I may be asking for a bit much hehe. Any help would be appreciated. It really would be the finishing touch on my rainmeter.

Also, it took me a while but I figured out how to get the scan animation to show up on my right monitor if anyone was after that effect. Speaking of which, scan lags my entire rainmeter, nowhere near as smooth as urs

@Fluxzone90 there is a way to get it to work with wmp, but you would hav to do a lot of down and dirty coding. my question is why r u using wmp as ur native? there's just so many better programs out there. and ive had no problems with scan so far, i actually had 4 instances of it running at the same time. (2 left monitor 2 right monitor)

@StereoBreedMedia Just what I'm used to i guess. I used Winamp a while back and wasn't a fan tbh. Also yeah I tried for a few min running 2 instances of scan (one in each monitor) and all my rainmeter animations went to shit (even more). All I'm running is scan and the other circular animation from tech.vision, the same one in this vid. It just seems to lag like hell however everything else seems perfectly fine (gaming etc). Its a very good rig and I can't see why it excels at more intence stuff

@purekid125 the wallpaper doesn't actually move, i just made the wallpaper with a few tech brushes, then i used rainmeter to overlay the "moving" parts to it.

nope, the wallpaper is stationary, its just a simple eye trick of matching colors within the wallpaper, to configs within rainmeter to make it look like rainmeter is part of the wallpaper. which is why i stress coming up with a design and what you want it to look like BEFORE you start designing.

with wat exactly? if you're speaking about the wallpaper not moving, just open up the rainmeter "animation" config and place it over the circle of the wallpaper. if you need anymore help, feel free to private message me =]

hmmm, theres only 2 things i can think of. 1-make sure you have the newest version of winamp. or 2- right click the skin and go to skin menu-edit skin.  and make sure under [variables] your win amp folder is set to C:\programfiles\winamp or whatever your install directory is.
