Although I find MCR's attempt at covering a Blur song admirable, quite frankly I'm not digging this at all. Gerard's vocals don't work when compared to Damon's deeper and smoother vocals in the original; Gerard's vocals are much too nasally and the added MCR guitar feel didn't help much either.

I like MCR, and I hardly ever criticize what they do musically, but this is one of the times I'm openly biased and say that I didn't like this cover at all.

yeah i find this really interesting; they pull this off ALMOST as well live as blur do themselves. drums aren't bad (besides the fact that the intro/verse beat is supposed to be on a tom rim instead of hats but it still sounded good), but the backing vocalists sound like they are bored! my only true criticism; even when damon's doing the backups (the "woohoo" in the chorus btw) he screams it with so much more energy enthusiasm and passion!

great cover all up though; i'm very impressed MCR!

Alright, I love mcr, but I don't think they really pull this off. I'm not trying to put them down or anything, but gerard's vocals just aren't right for this song. The rest of the band was tight though :)

i think they all did amazing, and i think gerad sounded fine, but not as good as the original. i don't think anyone has the right voice for this song, other than the singer of blur, though because the singer of blur has a very unique voice. anyways, this is a way better cover than most of them that i have heard. also, that is a really weird stage.
