This is, BY FAR, his best choreographed program, imo. I think it is perfect for his style and body type. Watch 2004 Russian Nationals when he received all 6.0's for artistic, and several for technical (and he deserved them too)!
This is a wonderfully choreographed program. Probably one of the best choreographed programs Plushy has ever done. I'm actually shocked that some people don't like it, considering the fact that some of his biggest critics like this program. Also it was choreographed by a very talented Russian ballet dancer/choreographer, Yuri Smekalov, who did a wonderful job at incorporating Plushy's great jumps (like Njinsky's) with the theme/music. But w/e, haters gonna hate.
Not his best performance of Nijinsky but who should have gotten on top?I remember it was not a good year at worlds, so Plushenko in comparison was still on top.
I think the judges were more lenient because he fell on an "easy" move, but still completed 2 quads and 2 triple axels. Plus, this was the last year they used the 6.0 system at Worlds so it was like a free giveaway. The judges were nice to everyone, not just Plushy.
вы меня наверное не правильно поняли-имелось в виду, что эта программа не так крута как другие, но это не значит, что она не хороша, кроме того стоит учитывать способ восприятия..я говорю на уровне mp3, а вы -на концертном.
I think I see a lot of you guys point here, but its true I'm not a fan of the arms.... besides how did guys like Johnny Weir manage to keep up with him as well as they did for as long as they did, without a quad?? I think when they get the quad under there belt its like everyone thinks thats the most important thing and its sooo much easier to overlook the other little stuff they coulda done better. Just my opinion of course!!
Isn't a fall an automatic .4 deduction or is that only in the short program? Besides, the fall, his other jumps were good; not a fan of the footwork, spins, or "interpretation."
the scores recieved showed an obvious bias. technical marks should not have been anything above 5.7 after two biffed spins, two cheated/swing landings, an obvious trip, and a "good fall", not even to mention a missed jump.
His spins were just fine compared to the rest of the field in 2004. He may have fallen but his jumps overall were still just as good, or better, then he rest of the field -- he did the hardest jump combo in the competition and was the only person to do 2 Quads and 2 Triple Axels.
@chandy141 One "biffed" spin (tops), otherwise - very solid spins, no cheated landing (even after Flip jump his landing was just sort but still correct, other jumps - first Axel and second quad Toe-Loop were landed slightly forward but correctly), an "obvious trip" - what do you mean by that??, yes - a good fall because he got up so quickly that it was almost no disturbance to the programme and yes he missed Loop jump but nevertheless the overall technical merit is superior!! I'd give 5.8 6.0

I love this program, but the music and the dance steps more than anything else. Joubert should have won.

Superb (other than the loop, he did that exact same fall when he first started competing at senior world level)

Actually it was a very good year at Worlds. This was simply the best performance and actually quite amazing, even with the fall.

поверьте мне, эта программа не впечатляет только в окне 6*10 cm неважнецкого качества.
Живьём она великолепна
