The actor doesn't want to come back, in the show he is "dead" killed by Oliver. But he is not really dead. Anyways he was controlling things behind scenes during the season. You should watch season 8 it was really good.

I personally like Legion, but I agree with the Lana episodes. If they changed those episodes and took her out I wouldn't even have noticed. She had already said goodbye in the earlier season with the video to Clark

You didnt like season 4?. For me it was awesome. With the return of that kid that like to play goku with his instant transmission techniek :P. Jason Teague also played a good role for being lana's boyfriend. Most of the episodes off season 4 were pretty good

Season 4 had some of the best episodes of the series (Crusade, Onyx, Run, Commencement) but also some of the worst (Ageless, Forever, Spell) Not to mention, that witch arc with Lana was pure crap. But I don't hate it, it's still a watchable season.

Pff run and transference is incredible i almost forgot them :P, I also liked - Scare, Pariah and Blank. When i saw blank for the first time I really begin to acknowlige smallville as on of the big series out there like prison break, heroes, lost. The moment that lois and that sherrif woman came in and saw everything and that kid used his powers to make them forget and also he used it on chloe. but she still remembered it :P Smallville in his prime was awesome now it has become a B or C Show

I think the first 3 seasons were the best, Season 4 was mediocre, Season 5 is overrated, Season 6 was okay, Season 7 was plain crap! This was probably Clark's best season since Season 2 since most of it focused on him and his development.

Season 3 and Season 2 was defintely amazing. I remember skipping school to see some of the episodes :P. I also liked season 4 because every single episode was amazing. but i have to say sinds jonathan kent died in season 5 smallville went downhill. it was just nog the same anymore... the high school saga was awesome!!!!
