  • Der Quasthoff wird wohl überbewertet, weil niemand sich so richtig einzugestehen traut, seine stimmliche Fähigkeiten unabhängig seiner körperlichen Behinderung zu betrachten. Terfel ist grandios; zwischen den beiden liegen Welten!

  • This version was terrific. I didn't miss the sets or the costumes; I was too engrossed in the great acting and wonderful singing. Everyone was great here, but in my opinion, Bryn Terfel stole the show. I loved it. Thank you for posting this.

  • Anything with Quasthoff is marvelous, but *everyone* is great here. Bryn is better here than in 2000.
