Nice job nokia.. Going from one dying platform to another.. Win7 mobile is built on the dying silverlight platform.. Win8 will be built on something new and better.. Microsoft doesn't even care to give multi platform silverlight support.. Not hard to see why it failed to become popular.. No, it does not mean that. The panel menu is not Nokia like and takes some time to get used to.

I personally hate that awful panel menu that WP7 got, for me it just killed the whole expirience when I could not find anything I was looking for. I am used to the Symbian menu which is Nokia like, simple and well organized.

Maybe they fucked the menu in the mobile store, but I still can't help to ask myself why Lumia didn't have the familiar Nokia menu.

@bood3e It comes in stunning black which is by far the best looking phone ever. Matter of opinion of course. What comes to operating system this uses Windows. i GUARANTEE you this is iphone -fast. Even the most hardcore iphone -fans have said that "wow, this thing is really fast" ... It's simple and stunning. Definetaly option for iphone, but android is the only one with proper customization.

There are millions of another things affecting the picture quality another than resolution. Sadly, the 720p doesn't seem to be too good in Lumia 800, only real dissapointment. Flash means only ads, never use it in my android tab either... i've learnt from my another phones that it's pointless to fill your phone with videos etc so 16gb is ok

I've been using my new Lumia 800 for the last three weeks and it rocks. We have iPhone 3 & 4 but decided to give this new device a go. It feels slick, configured it to my company email in less than a minute and hey presto synced everything thats on my work machine. We probably spent 20KGBP on Apple bits & pieces these last few years and Im very happy to have another player at the top end. Keep it up Nokia!
