FATJAMS, that was sweet and your effort wellappceciated.....I notice a few groups listed singing "guardian angels" but the best and original version is done by the "selections".....try posting it phyllis I think your crew will enjoy it
@tonadel Hi Tony, You show up everywhere and I've just figured out why..we both hang with the best. hahhaha we know where it's at right? Thank you for the tip concerning the "selections" I'll check them out...love, phyllis
@bernie600bhp The Princetones from W.N.Y., N.J. wrote this in 1958, then the Selections did it then Frank Mancuso & the Imaginations, The Camerons did it too.
@FriedrichSternberg ....back in the dayz Guardian Angels by the Selections should have been a #1 song but was never pushed on the radio....Payola !! .... every corner in N.Y. had a group hitting this song for harmony...Shame that some of the best doo wop songs were never heard by many people
@tonadel what you've said is the truth!! And when the Beatles came from across the big pond.pfft! that was the end of this, our kind of "tunes" a little could be found every now and then, the Rhythm and Blues I grew up listening to from 1010 WINS out of N.Y. with Alan Freed, is called Doo Wop!! More was lost then we could ever have expected...and to comment on your original comment, "some of the very best, was never heard"..a lot of the best will never be known EVER to this generation.......
@sleepytimegalz .......thats it phyllis.....sad.....another thought, we were young, dancing to "i only have eyes for you" and little did we know that this would one day be a giant classic ! .... got to laugh! ....talk about young and dumb!....love, Tony
@tonadel Tony, i'm in the process of deleting in my inbox, because after 3 years of getting most of my messages thru my email..I find out there's an inbox where all comments go. yikes, so I've got thousands to delete..Wanna come help me? I sure would appreciate it. umm, the real reason I'm here...oh yes,it is very sad. but I'm finding that there are quite a few that love our music even today...I wish I could go back ya know..don't you?? Love ya friend..phyl.
Thank you akk so much for your kind words. Im doing more videos as we speak stay tuned. If anyone has any songs they want done let me know Ill try to come up with a video. Happy Holidays and God bless.

Great stuff! A question, a couple of years ago there was a video on you tube featuring a singer who looked like you singing at a live show, a ballad, he was fantastic, sounded like Maestro, was that you?
G E N I U S! Many many thanks for sharing and producing this video to the world...Five...no make that Ten....no ONE HUNDRED THUMBS UP!!! Keep em' coming!
Three great songs: Guardian Angel, Morse Code of Love and I Wanna Be Your Lover. I especially liked the great choreography of the three backup singers in Morse Code of Love. They seemed to have sung and moved as one.
The Princetones from West N.Y. in N.J.wrote it in 1958 it's orig. title was "Bada Bada" next group The Selections from Brooklyn did it as Guardian angel then frank Mancuso with the Imaginations who did a new version with his new group the Legends of Doo Wop, hope I helped Daddio!
