beautiful song..i was 19 when i had my daughter, weren't sure who her dad was until she was born and haven't seen him since i was pregnant (13 years) and i met my husband when my daughter was only a few months old and we became friends and started a relationship when she was 4,,to this day my daughter know him as dad even though he is blood..as did joeseph with Jesus..he is RISEN!

Genetically, Jesus is of the line of David because Mary was also a descendant of David. Go back and look at both Joseph and Mary's lineages in the Gospels. Both are of David's line, so that Jesus would be a descendant of David legally and genetically.
