Freddie is a world class fighter, teacher, and individual. He trains as hard and smart as anyone. People who know him like him as a person and highly respect him as a fighter.
This guy is terrible! The only reason he wins is because he does Villaries tournaments where everyone else just sucks more! Love to see him at an IPPONE event!!
@TheAndyCampbell - Your bias is showing... Freddie has a phenomenal resumé, He fought the national circuit with Coach Mike Conroy and Team Elite and later Team CJB. He has won at least 7 world championship titles throughout the country. Now a coach himself and Master Instructor with Villari's at his Barre, VT location
@zeeboo56 He has won at least 7 world championship titles throughout the country. You kidding me??Ahaha typical yanks. Like calling baseball the world series even tho it has only american teams. Your stupidity is showing.
I new a kid across the street who did a karate style that was mish mashed with other arts..Said he went to a world championship grappling torney and won it,had the throphy and all. I got that kid to train with us and he soon realized he wasnt world champ..
He competed as recently as 3 or 4 years ago, on a couple of national circuits and was a champion in both continuous and point sparring. This video was from way before he hit his fighting prime. I've trained w/ him and he is insanely fast.
Freddie has competed on the open circuit for years. His list accomplishments, victories and titles is endless and he has earned the respect and admiration of the people that really matter, his peers.
Freddie as a top level open point competitor in New England in the 90's - a time in which "point Karate" was fairly popular.

The form is Sho Ton Kwok. It is done here superbly by Mr. LaPan as is the sparring and Bo staff.
