good opening ceremony...but that big butterfly was scarying...

Sydney 2000 OC was excelent

Atlanta 1996 OC was good

Athens 2004 good...but that part of clepsydra was boring... i thought that the opening ceremony was going to be something more, dance, joy, celebration...like the ceremony of atlanta (celebratrion)

Beijing 2008 OC WAS AWESOME!!!!

BARCELONA 1992 OC WAS BEAUTIFUL

To all and sundry, this performance was designed and produced by Perter Minshall of Trinidad, my countryman. God bless Minshall for bringing the culture of Trinidad to the world. He was awarded its highest award by the Government after this event. I am happy we can see it again

What a wonderful presentation of the southern states history and culture. Great city and wonderful people. The critisim only confirms it- this was the best opening ceremonies ever. Well done Atlanta!!

america has a VERY rich culture. It just doesn't have thousands of years of history, don't confuse the two like the rest of the world, who assume that their mediocre achievements now don't matter because they must obviously be more important because they've been around longer, and of course that gives them a "better culture" somehow. Just because you are criticizing the USA doesn't make your argument intelligent, which seems to be a common misconception.

This was my most favorite part of the 96 opening ceremonies!!! I had just graduated from high school and as a gift from my dad he took me and my cousin here before I went away to college in Sept. of 96... I can't believe I was there to see this!!! It was Better in person... I still love to see it!!!!
