Love Failed For Mukuro and Hiei

Mukuro, as a character, and in and of herself, is sincerely epic; I think the same of Hiei. Together, though... Something just seems... wrong about that... (though I may simply be biased, as Kurama/Hiei stole my heart from the very beginning (the last scene between them made me cry)). I, personally, see Hiei and Mukuro in a siblings/best friend type of relationship, but, honestly, nothing more in the love department. The vid itself, though, was sincerely amazing.

...I vote for the KxH sequel.

@catledgem That is true.The creator was going to put Hiei and Kurama in some kind of relationship,but he decided against it due to something.I read a wiki article on Hiei yesterday.I really like MukuroxHiei,you might as well say it's like Crayon Shin-Chan but with demons.XD

Though I have nothing against Mukuro (actually the opposite more like) I just really can't see the pairing happening- regardless of the large imply-ment of it. I actually think the cause of the whole pairing was because of all the "Kurahi" fangirls ravaging about- (hence the whole exchange between Kurama and Hiei after the last tournament (which crushed me).) But then again that's just that I make of it. Though I still see very little comparability. =3=

(This is my opinion) I think that Hiei only liked Mukuro because they could relate, and she was one of the only people who ever really excepted him...

Alright, since you said you were genuinely interested Ill tell you what I can. Naturally I can't answer for everyone, but I can give you some reasons why I dislike it and why I believe others don't as well. One of my current biggest reasons for disliking the pair is the fact that the fans of said pairing refuse to accept that yes, HieiMuku IS a fannon pairing, not a cannon pairing...

...This would not be such a problem to me at least, you can think what ever you want in my opinion, however a large number of them go around flaming HieiKura videos with comments such as "OMG! They're not gay you retard! Hiei's with Mukuro!" Which quickly creates a great deal of bad blood between the fans of two said pairings. Both pairings are just as likely or unlikely, believe it or not their sexual orientations are never addressed in the series...

...Another reason is I believe a lot of fans didn't like the sudden appearance of a female character entering in the very last arc and immediately bonding with Hiei. Now, before you hear me wrong let me tell you I'm a HUGE Mukuro fan, she's one of my favorite female characters and I love a platonic relationship with her and Hiei...

I also don't think they work as a couple because her and Hiei's personalities are so similar they don't create any interesting dynamic as a pairing at least to me. For me they make great soul siblings but not more. Also, since a great deal of HieiMuku fans hate HieiKura and a great deal of HieiKura fans hate HieiMuku it's hard for anyone who likes one of the pairs to watch any videos for the other pairing with out seeing comments they find angering and insulting...

...If I found a group of people who liked both HieiMuku and HieiKura or were open to the opposing pairing, I might give more of a try. I have, since making this video, lost a great deal of dislike towards this pairing, however as I just explained, it's hard to get into the other pairing and not be horribly insulted. I think in her own way Mukuro is one of the most beautiful characters I've seen, in manga or anime form. Her appearance has more depth than a lot of female anime characters have. Mhmm... Mukuro's one of my favorite female anime characters, if not my favorite. She's just a breath of fresh air after seeing so many cutesy, cliche anime girls.

And I'm actually in the planning stage for a Hiei and Mukuro video. It's supposed to be about how their canon relationship took form... Angsty enough for even the most die-hard Hiei/Kura fans to stomach. ; )

Yeah, I feel the same way. Mukuro is actually one of my favorite female anime characters, she just doesn't work with Hiei though. I LOVE a soul brother/sister or mother/son kind of relationship between them, which I've heard some people say is what Yoshihiro Togashi was trying to do with them, but a more intimate relationship just doesn't work in my mind. Mmm, I know what you mean. I DO like the relationship between Hiei and Mukuro as soul siblings but in my mind they're just too similar to each other to create any interesting traction. Of course, a really good fic writer or video maker can make just about anything work, but unless it's done REALLY well, the pairing just doesn't work for me as a romance. Thank you for commenting!
