FYI... the percussionist in the video is Dave Mancini. I met him first in 1992 at a drum clinic/workshop he did at my high school and we kept in touch over the years. Great guy, phenomenal drummer... graduate of Eastman in Rochester, NY. It's funny because he's played with a lot of big jazz names since the 70's but few people outside of other drummers know of him. He has two really cool projects with Denis DiBlasio, One on One and Salt Peanuts... I think both are available on iTunes.

great stuff. i have a video of MF playing Hollywood from this same concert. also included in the release was Don't Stop till you get enough. brings back memories!
