Got to say this expansion came out a wee bit to late, had it come out a few months before, along with path fixes and other things seen today, WAR would be one of the most popular games in the world.
Overall it's a pretty good game. For a long time I've been discouraged from playing MMORPG's because they have just been failing so hard since the release of World of Warcraft in 2004.
The last MMORPG I truly loved was EQ2, until they started turning that into a WoW clone. It seemed like after that every MMORPG developed, free and pay, all mimicked the WoW mechanic.
With Warhamemr Online EA/BioWare/Mythic actually brought some originality to the genre, and they have made a very great MMORPG.
@Shiatar12 There are two ways to play it. One way is an endless trial. The other way is to pay $14.99 a month for full access to the entire game.
The development team has changed hands and I have only seen improvements. As many people know, when WAR was first released it was only EA and Mythic. After time, BioWare merged with EA and Mythic. The BioWare devs have been dying to get their hands on this game, and they developed this new patch coming out instead of EA Mythic. And it is amazing.
