Mr. Aceto's voice is a true invigoration, it's a disapoinment that he is such a horrible human being. I am a painting student and waiter, who had the "pleasure" of dealing with him. The pleasure of course included him cursing me out about a bottle of wine (while his mouth was full of Filet Mignon) and later he screamed, and threw keys at a very young female hostess demanding to get his car. We are still unsure of this last diatribe from Mr. Aceto being that hostesses don't valet cars.
Raymond Aceto is a much better singer than this video would lead you to believe. I saw him do an excellent Sparafucile in Rigoletto last week, and there's a pretty good clip here on YouTube of him singing Scarpia to Patricia Racette's Tosca. Blame the conductor!
This guy isn't particularly wonderful. But the "badness" of this isn't all his fault. The tempo is like a dirge. Could the conductor have done it any slower?

This guy is putting me to sleep. Escamillo should be a rock star. See Sam Ramey's version of this on YouTube.
