  • nice track

  • I was randomly searching videos of OLED TVs. When I saw Halo PC's web browser I about crapped myself.

  • Halo 1 pc was the shit!

  • It's real I have oled TVs in my House too

  • @trixter154 What make is it?

  • with today's tech it could very well be real. displays like that do cost like 10k+ but oh whel if you can afford it why not

  • good try, but before uploading this video you should have deleted your other 'video edited' youtube uploads on your account... makes it more credible. But I believe with watching the other videos on your channel. HDR edited of a beamer projection in your living room. BAM! AND THAT IS THAT!

  • to everyone who says this is fake.. you are a genius! who fucking knew! maby the guy made the video showing what could be possible in the future, but no! you proved him wrong! and you deserve a medal!

  • Editing herp derps near the end. Good throughout, though.

  • Fake, but it's good to see a mock up of a possible future reality. Thanks. Keep inventing reality.

  • 1:11

  • like this comment cuz i wanna be famous.

  • @antfrapalm What the heck, I'm replying to your comment to bump it up so that you can attain said fame.

  • Gives a nice idea of having a projector in the living room. if there are some with TV tuners, tho you could rummage for an old VCR hook the AV port to the vcr and projector, and the cable to the in, and voila, TV.

  • Fake. Just a tracking shot with a Halo video composited in. No reflection of the camera operator on the screen, nor is there any light transmission to the surrounding walls or ceiling.

  • Green screen l0z0rs :D

  • no light reflection on the ceiling, FFAAKKEE

  • The last frame tells everything

  • Fake Fake Fake in last second 1:14 the frame out of synchronizing nice work by adope effects :P

  • This is a great video, what is it? One of those thin framed Samsung Smart TV's?

  • Thos tv just doesnt fit in this area

  • I would say ... Greetings from Adobe After Effects - but nice work...

  • Gamespy sucks am I right?!

  • you can also see the original screen behind it particularly along the bottom lol. Can tell it's not OLED as they aren't that large yet / would cost a fortune to produce if they were and don't come in sub-HD along with the contrast ratio being way-out. Tut Tut

  • Halo OMG that game sucks!

  • Yeah, gotta say it's fake. I've done this kind of editing before with Premier Pro and I see some of the same problems where the video that you anchor to a certain point wavers when the camera moves. You can see the Halo video moving just a tad from the frame that it is anchored too. Lighting is a bit off too, the "TV" is a bit too bright. But hey, us amatures aren't perfect!

  • Although this is a fake, I believe this is how OLED monitors will look like on walls - fantastic!

  • NOT fake halo.

  • fuck halo.

  • fake -.-

    MOTION TRACKING hah

  • FAAAAKE! xD

  • Projector

  • Well done, but the camera would obviously have had trouble focussing, and when focused to the "tv" it would have made the rest darker...

  • @MavaDnb

Not if you disable dynamic contrast. I think most notable cameras can do that.

  • Not only a dislike from me, but also reported for being a total BULLSHIT video, should removes these arsehole users and they are fucking annoying on here...

  • @SlimNasty2 OMG, really? You actually put in the effort of REPORTING this video, despite there being NOTHING unsuitable in it?? There are FAR worse videos out there (perhaps some of yours?), and you've just wasted YouTube's time. You're the kind of user YouTube doesn't want around, not me. I can't believe you actually go around reporting videos you don't like. Totally lame.

    Get a life!

  • @theguymjp he was just wasting his time, much like you were by responding, and I am for responding to you. Yay for wasting time!!!!!

  • cam tipu je...

  • @SlimNasty2 i like the part where you said its bullshit but its actually real lol..

  • that screen has more pixels than your living room

  • I have a Sony bravia NX 55" that looks almost the same :) only thicker black corners. Plus it's 3D

  • lol, nice concept, i wish screens could maintain that clarity and brightness from any direction. At 1:14 your motion track slips off of your projector screen just a tad :P

  • Omg is this for real ? Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Omg is this for real ? Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • There is something better, Flexible screen..

The amount use of electricity is very low and you get sharp HD images or even higher.

But i think we are 4 years behind that tech to see it actually on public market..

Its quite some development time because figuring out how Nano Technology works properly right?. :)

Nice vid by the way :D

  • HALO 1 Is soo 2002 ....

  • it is a projector.

  • fake

  • E1e55ar is a genius, everyone! Listen to his wisdom!

  • There is a feature in Blender that can fake this easily! It just detects motion and position...

  • its fake its been using tracking with a movie software.

just look at the last couple frames where the tracking goes wrong

with good editing software you can choose points where a movie ore picture can be mounted and that stays there with use of reference points

  • Not only the screen is fake and shit, hes a bad noob too

  • @DJRostyslav I'd probably own you in a match ;)

  • @DJRostyslav troll much?

  • It's obviously fake, look at the date, April 12, 2008. OLED's largest screen back then was about the size of your computer monitor. (I think it was either 15 or 20 inches).

Nice adobe after effect effects. Can't believe Halo CE used to be like that. Look how badass Halo reach is right now lol.

  • it's fake, you probably have a tv that big, but the screen wouldn't be that big with such speaker quality. Seriously though, at least you could have placed some speakers near the tv to make this believable.

  • It was obviously fake to my eyes but I can't put my finger on why! Maybe the tracking is off or the colour grading doesn't quite match the environment.

  • definetly not oled, but nice, I've seen DLP super-short projectors look something like that

  • Fake, there isn't an Oled that is 4:3 and that big...

  • its a projector, projecting on a big screen!

  • @robbiebaker1995 It's not. Have you ever seen a projector project such a bright image in a room lit by daylight?

  • @theguymjp yes, yes i have, but then, that's what comes from working for a cinema and at a school with such good projectors.

  • @theguymjp mine does..

  • A 40" OLED display was made in 2007... And I think I read about an 60" OLED not long ago.. So whats the deal here? And what kind of asshole thinks you can actually see differense between an LCD and a OLED display on camera? Maybe if they stood next to each other but doubtful.

  • so fake, why? because it's so big and you the uploader is a techie who can do some tricks over these stuff....

  • oled arent that big yet , and they dont come in standard resolution, only widescreen sucka.

  • @daranik

    Widescreen is standard, sucka.

  • @theguymjp

its fake. you can tell in the last frame of the shot. the image doesn't line up properly with the projector screen on the wall. looks fairly descent up till then though

  • @rocklobster1976

Word. The last frame made it all, it's traced in premier and/or in after effects. Pretty good job trollin all these ppl!

  • @theguymjp

Even though they do come in these sizes, getting one is rather hard and expensive as I don't think they are out for the public yet.

theguymjp is a pretty cool guy. He trolls loads of people and doesn't afraid of nothing.

  • @NeophyteHooliganer You think my replying of comments is trolling? Gosh, I don't want do know what you'd think of a REAL troll. :P Nasty things, they are.

  • @theguymjp

Nah not really. More your video man, not the comments. However I have seen the better trolling work, you do manage to make people rage. However, this being Youtube, it's almost a common way of being here.... all raged up ;)

    True tath tho.

  • FAKE !!!! - but the real question is why the hell one needs to try and fake a "normal" oled display - and wihy it gets over 40 000 views ?!?!?!? comments below ...

  • it's got over 40,000 views because mah Halo skillz are radz :)

  • @TheRuppel

    Could be a Tester

  • nOT WORTH IT. tRUE 3D IS AROUND THE BEND. cHECK OUT SONY.

  • it would be a pitty to have a 720p res running on such a big OLED

  • it looks green screened and they do not sell oled that big like lostdrift said unless you are like rich and have excllent resources, i can guarantee that its fake.

  • The Oled tv is real, but your gaming skills are fake Hax!!!!

I will come to you in your dreams and throw a computer monitor in your head!! XP

  • @SkullSunnies I can guarantee that I wasn't hacking. :P

  • it so annoys me that ist fake... i was like OMG that is the most amazing screen i have ever seen,, and then i thougt like, its way to brigth to be real, and there is no reflections at all

  • Beautiful!

  • Fake as it is, its still a pretty good representation of what OLED monitors will be like once they are mainstream

  • fake. Samsung cant make them this big yet. Would be awesome if it was real though.

  • this is fantastic editing nice job

  • halo is wack cod4 ftw

  • Even though this one is fake but with the greedy, corrupt, empire minded corporations around, you won't be seeing a machine with such perfect picture for a long time. You can count on it they are going to milk this technology to the end just like what they did and still do with digital cameras, they totally hold back the technology. Why do they do this because they want you to buy, buy, and buy again before they come up with anything remotely perfect, the same bullshit with the auto industry.

  • is not real

  • does look pretty geniun to me

  • Smells fake to me, like cheap shoes...

  • 3D fake TV with motion tracking and inserted a video :D

  • Fake, so good quality TV image, and much camera moves (camera tracking).

  • After Effects :P

  • @theguymjp your monitor will be real in about another year. ( or anounced next january to be exact. )

  • fake reasons below

    1. they have not made oled's this big yet

    2. if it was real it would have to be just led

    3. the only oled that big (bigger too) is the mitsubishi oled

    149"

  • thats rilly good blue/green screen stuff ;;) lol

  • It's a neat fake. Someday, not quite yet.

  • FAke .

no one cannot make it for now

  • The video on the 'screen' is higher res than the rest of the video. Clearly a fake. And if someone were to have it. I don't think they'd be using it for playing Halo 2.

  • @billybobjoe198 that is true. but umm it is halo 1. lol. anyway who cares what halo it is. i noticed that the "screen" was higher res as well.

  • its just a video clip tracked to the edges of the screen via software.. Its not hard to do.

  • Am I the only one that thinks that this is a projector? For one, they don't ever show the region where a projector would obviously be. Second, it doesn't have the pixel discrepancies that accompany chroma key effects. Finally, it's really easy to align a projector perfectly on a screen so it looks like the screen is producing its own image. But that's just me :)

  • you seriously think a projector can produce such an image with great black level in daylight? You can obviously see it's just a videorender.

  • well I have an hd projector that can produce black levels that are incredibly deep in daylight. It would seem that you could project the video to make it look real, and then go back later with a pretty basic editor and just adjust contrast and coloring levels so you could create the produced image effect without the glitches that are so common to green/blue screening.

  • load of

  • bluescreen technology not oled...

  • it will come around 2016 for now looks fake

  • FAKE! only the fact that you mention its "fakeness" proves it ;)

  • O.O at least you don't have to daydream it! instead watch it! ;D EPIC!

  • fake, they dont make oled that big.. plus it would cost a fortune right now

  • fake, seeings as the motion tracking quivers a bit. And the lighting of the monitor is too bright and doesn't give off any ambiance...

  • what game is this?

  • @pmcted2

Lol, it's Halo PC of course :P

  • @pmcted2 halo dumb ass it was in the begining

  • Sooooooooooo fake

  • halo PC woot!

wat game servers do u play

  • Fake, considering that the largest consumer OLED screens are about 15" and cost a bomb.

  • u dont know shit...

  • Really... then find me a reputable etailer shop link for one then. Most you'll find are the Sony XEL 11" at around £3000+ and 15" LG OLED screens are apparently now on sale in South Korea.

Maybe I don't know shit, but you demonstrated a complete inability to respond to my comment without adding anything to the discussion. The irony in your comment makes me smile too :-)

  • Yep! You're the first person who's worked it out, and commented, I think.

Though, it was a painting, not a projector screen. ;)

  • I'm actually learning 3D tracking for a web show that I will be hosting/editing. I've started to recognize and understand a lot of video effects because of what I'm learning.

  • this is not OLED.

  • Clearly green screen, the colours are way too bright considering the camera that was filming was in a low light place and it would not of been able to focus.

  • Just gonna point out a few flaws with your comment... cuz I'm mean :P

About the saturation... this was recorded on a digital camera (not a camcorder), which doesn't have gain at all. So, all it can do is increase the ISO, which doesn't' hurt the colours too much, just the noise.

As for it being too dark to focus... what are you used to? Cheap DV cams? :P Either way, focus is locked when recording with my digicam, so it can't drift.

  • Well I am total noob at cameras lol, but I just think it looks really odd. If you pause it like 1 second in and look at the white screen, it looks really fake because the white is way too bright somehow. I do think the sound is realistic though because its slightly muffled, but it could be being played from a tv down below.

Also, the rest of the room slightly blurs and pixels as the filmer is moving around, but the creen stays at high quality throughout. Also the comment about the jolt at 1:11.

  • very good though & nice design

  • 1 day. In another 10 years?

  • how about fake because the camera exposure isnt all over the place when the screen turns white

  • Interesting reasoning =P

You're right, it is fake. But the exposure could've just been locked (it wasn't though), which I do with my camera about 80% of the time.

  • looks good

  • Well it's fake in the way that OLED don't come that big yet. The biggest to date is 22" with a 42" to be out by end of this year.

  • yup

  • @lostdrift they do make them this big they come in over 60"

  • fake its green screen

  • wrong, lol

  • You made the biggest mistake at 1:12 when the superimposed frame jumps off the host image on the right.

  • nicely noticed

  • Comment removed

  • unless ti was someone betatesting the TV and had camera sync, that is as simple as fake.

  • the tech is real, that tv isn't. The biggest version of that technology that they have to date is 14"

  • obviously it is fake.

  • This suppose to be your fantasy ? It's just 2D screen, dammit. Get fancier, it's your fantasy! My comment posting spree is done.

  • ...um, what?

  • ur lucky to have a oled that size! my dad wont buy me a oled that size for my room. my rooms got the sony x series oled but its only 40 inches :(

  • Lol, it's not real you know....

  • I'm guessing you're using a program, after effects or something like that. Man, Halo pc has been out for quite a while and yet its servers are still getting full.

  • Haha Halo for the PC still being played in 08.

  • Yep, lol. You should see how many servers are still getting filled up.

  • nope it's AE or a really good projector i have one set up in my room it's 1080p and kills that . i am setup at 144in

(down side heats up room 20deg in 5min. room size is 18ft x 22ft)

  • lawl u got flashbanged! 1:02

  • fake...not real...

  • if that's an OLED... YOU MUST BE RICH!

  • Fake. Either Motion or AE. The focus on the edge of the "screen" is different to the fireplace, and the contrast is completely different between the rest of the room and the "screen". Schoolboy errors!

  • =)

yay, someone smart who doesn't think it's a projector!

It was AE, and the first 'project' I did with it.

  • Seeing it is in a house and OLEDS haven't broken about 40" yet in size i would have to say that is 100% fake, also there is no inputs to the monitor or power , also if it is OLED, it would be a wide screen.

  • projectors definitely have that quality, i don't know where you've been. my friend has had the same projector for over 2 years and it reaches 1040p/i (not sure which, exactly, but it's pretty much not distinguishable from 1080) it just depends on how much you can spend on a projector. it's a nice fake though.

  • projector.....

  • after effects actually

  • Yeah, projectors don't have that kind of quality.

  • you are cheater...XD

  • lol thats not even a tv.. mouse pointer? lol.. thats a projecter

  • Nice tv, well done video but crap game.

  • That's a nice fake... good try

  • fake but is a good video.

  • fake but nice set up

  • Fake

Currently, the biggest available OLED is 11 inches and costs about $1500

  • nig

  • fake

    duh

  • LOL its halo 1 thats funny

  • fake

  • fake but nice though

  • IT LOOKS LIKE OLED
